Terms & Booking Policy
These terms apply to services booked with Matthew Croissant, a sole proprietor operating as Bread & Butter Mobile Detailing in Loveland, Colorado. Please review them before booking and contact us with questions. Any specific service arrangement agreed with you should be documented in your booking or communications.
Services, starting prices, and final payment
All prices are in U.S. dollars (USD). Every price marked with a “+” is a starting amount, not a final or maximum price. This applies to both detail packages and customer-selected additional services. Final pricing depends on the applicable vehicle tier, the service selected, the condition of the vehicle, and the effort and area worked.
We work within the scope of your booked services and selections. Additional services may be recommended following inspection and consultation and are added by agreement. The final total is calculated and confirmed after service is complete. Please discuss any budget limits or pricing questions with us before work begins.
The remaining balance, including applicable vehicle-tier differences, additional services, and an agreed travel fee, is due after service is complete. Gratuity is optional.
Booking deposit
A booking deposit equal to 50% of the selected service's minimum advertised base rate reserves your appointment. It is credited toward your final bill. It is not necessarily half of your final total, because vehicle tiers and additional services can change that total.
Cancellations and refunds
- At least 48 hours' notice: cancel at least 48 hours before your scheduled start time to receive a full refund of your booking deposit.
- Less than 48 hours' notice: your deposit is nonrefundable for a late cancellation.
- No-shows: your deposit is nonrefundable if you are unavailable or we cannot access the vehicle as arranged. We allow 15 minutes after arrival and attempt to contact you by call and text before treating the appointment as a no-show.
Notice is measured against the appointment's scheduled start time in Mountain Time. Use the cancellation or rescheduling link provided with your Calendly booking, or contact us directly by email or call/text. Please retain your cancellation confirmation or message. Refunds are returned through the original payment method; the time until funds appear depends on the payment provider and your bank.
If an appointment is booked less than 48 hours before its start time, the normal cancellation deadline has already passed. The late-cancellation rule applies.
Rescheduling
With at least 48 hours' notice, you may transfer your deposit once to the next available appointment. Changes with less than 48 hours' notice follow the late-cancellation rule. If further changes are needed, contact us; the applicable cancellation and refund rules still apply.
Weather or cancellation by us
If weather, an emergency, or another issue prevents us from providing the service, we will offer you a full refund of the deposit or rescheduling without a penalty. Rescheduling initiated by us does not use your one permitted customer-requested deposit transfer.
Service area and travel
Our normal service area is within 50 miles of Loveland, Colorado. Jobs outside that area are accepted at our discretion and carry a flat $100 travel fee per appointment when accepted. Contact us before booking an address outside the service area so we can confirm availability and the travel fee.
Prepare the location and vehicle
Customers must currently provide access to water and electrical power. Please arrange suitable access to the vehicle and a location where the work is permitted. If the required utilities or vehicle access will be unavailable, contact us before the appointment.
Remove all personal belongings, valuables, documents, and anything you do not want discarded before service. Ordinary loose trash is removed as part of cleaning. Do not rely on us to inventory or safeguard items left in the vehicle. We are not responsible for missing personal items except to the extent responsibility is imposed by applicable law. This provision is not permission to knowingly discard valuables or a release for unlawful conduct.
Vehicle condition and limits of service
We photograph and video-record the vehicle to document condition and work performed. Please tell us about known damage, repairs, delicate or failing materials, aftermarket modifications, and any condition relevant to safe cleaning.
Our goal is to improve the vehicle's condition, not to make a used vehicle new. Results depend on the condition and materials present. Complete removal of every stain, odor, scratch, defect, or other issue is not guaranteed. Service limits, concerns, and any change in scope will be discussed case by case. We may decline or stop work that cannot be performed safely or appropriately.
Pre-existing damage and wear are not damage caused by our service. Nothing in these terms excuses responsibility for damage we cause where liability applies under the law.
Final inspection and service concerns
When you are present, we conduct a final inspection with you. Please identify visible cleaning concerns during that walkthrough so they can be reviewed before the job is closed. The completed work and visible condition accepted at that inspection are considered final for ordinary cleaning and appearance concerns.
If you are not present at completion, contact us within 24 hours after service is completed to report a cleaning or appearance concern. Include the affected area, a description, and photos where possible so we can review it against the service selected and our vehicle records. Remedies are considered case by case; we do not offer a separate blanket satisfaction or workmanship guarantee.
The walkthrough and 24-hour reporting period do not waive rights that cannot lawfully be waived, shorten an applicable statutory claim period, or eliminate a claim concerning damage that was not reasonably discoverable at inspection. Report suspected damage promptly after discovering it. Manufacturer warranty claims follow the applicable warranty terms.
Ceramic coatings and manufacturer warranties
We register qualifying System X installations and provide aftercare instructions. Any manufacturer warranty is subject to the product's eligibility, registration, maintenance, inspection requirements, exclusions, and terms supplied for your installation. Advertised coating longevity is not a promise of identical performance under every use or maintenance condition.
System X's current automotive warranty terms include annual inspection requirements, and an inspection or maintenance service may have a separate charge. Review the System X automotive warranty terms and your installation documents. We do not provide a separate additional workmanship warranty. This does not exclude rights or warranties that applicable law does not permit us to exclude.
Photos, video, and privacy
Vehicle photos and videos document condition and work and may be used in our portfolio or social media. Please see our Privacy Policy for details and how to raise a recording or publication concern. These terms do not grant an unrestricted release of a customer's identity, likeness, voice, or endorsement rights.
