Privacy Policy
Bread & Butter Mobile Detailing is operated by Matthew Croissant, a sole proprietor in Loveland, Colorado. This notice explains how information is handled when you visit our website, contact us, book a service, make a payment, or have a vehicle detailed.
Information collected
- Contact and booking information: your name, email, phone number, service address, appointment details, vehicle year, make and model, selected services, and information you choose to provide through Calendly or in communications with us.
- Payments: Stripe processes online payment information. We can access the transaction information needed to confirm deposits, balances, and refunds. We do not maintain a separate record of full payment-card numbers or security codes.
- Vehicle records: photos and video of vehicle condition and work performed. Images may include a license plate, belongings, or surrounding areas that are in view.
- Coating registrations: owner contact details, vehicle information, VIN, installed product, installation date, and related details needed for qualifying System X warranty registrations.
- Website information: our hosting and embedded service providers may collect device and browser information, IP address, pages viewed, and cookie or similar technology data when their features are used.
Our separate working contact notes are limited to names and phone numbers. Contact and booking information, including email addresses, may also be retained in Calendly, Gmail, and the services used for customer correspondence and occasional promotional emails. Booking details, payment records, warranty registrations, vehicle media, and records of email opt-out requests may remain in the services or systems used for those purposes.
How information is used
We use information to answer questions, schedule and perform services, contact you about appointments, process payments and refunds, document vehicle condition, address service concerns, register eligible coating warranties, maintain business records, and operate and secure the website.
Customer emails and your choices
We may use contact information provided by past customers to send occasional service updates, special offers, and requests for honest feedback. You can stop promotional emails at any time by replying “unsubscribe” or emailing carguycroissant@gmail.com. We honor opt-out requests within 10 business days. Opting out does not stop communications needed for your bookings, payments, or services. We may retain your email address in an opt-out record to respect your choice.
Photos, video, and our portfolio
We photograph and video-record vehicles to document their condition and the work performed. Vehicle photos and videos may also appear in our website portfolio or social media content. A vehicle's plate or surroundings may be visible; these images are not necessarily anonymous.
If you have concerns about recording or promotional use, contact us before service so we can discuss them. You may also contact us about an image already published and request review or removal. This notice explains our practices; it is not an unrestricted release of a person's name, likeness, voice, private information, or endorsement rights. Any permission required by applicable law must be obtained separately.
Service providers and other disclosures
We do not sell or rent customer contact lists, share leads with unrelated businesses, or provide customer lists for third-party advertising. Information is nevertheless processed by the providers needed to deliver the services you request:
- Squarespace: website hosting, functionality, and associated website information.
- Calendly: scheduling, booking questions, appointment communications, and booking records.
- Stripe: payment processing, transaction records, fraud prevention, and refunds.
- Google/Gmail and communications providers: messages, calls, customer correspondence, promotional emails, and email opt-out records.
- System X: qualifying coating warranty registrations and related administration.
- Social media and video platforms: information you submit when interacting with our profiles and any vehicle media published there.
Information may also be disclosed where legally required or reasonably necessary to resolve a claim, protect rights, or respond to fraud or security issues. Cookies and external features
Squarespace and embedded booking, payment, or media features may use cookies and similar technologies for functionality, security, and usage measurement. You can manage cookies through your browser and any choices offered by the relevant provider. Blocking cookies may affect booking or payment features. Following a social media, review, or other external link takes you to a service with its own privacy practices.
Retention and protection
Information is retained as needed for the purposes described above, including service history, warranty administration, payment and tax records, and the handling of disputes or legal obligations. The period depends on the type of record and the provider holding it. No online service or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure. Please do not send payment-card security codes or unnecessary sensitive information by email, text, or booking notes.
Your questions and requests
You may contact us to ask about information we hold, request correction or deletion, or raise a concern about vehicle media. We may need to verify your identity. Some records must be retained for legal, transaction, warranty, or dispute purposes, and records held by another provider may require a request directly to that provider. We will handle requests in accordance with applicable law.
